From 2005 - 2009, John Buginas taught at the San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers. He formed the academy’s applied behavior analysis study group and coordinated the academy's intern program. Civilpooch trainer John Buginas resides in Modesto, CA. John was an Instructor and Intern Coordinator at the San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers founded by Jean Donaldson. The Academy was closed by SF/SPCA in November of 2009. At the academy, John taught Learning Theory, Behavior Evaluations, Issues and Ethics in Dog Training, and hands-on training skills.
