Oh, Behave! Dogs from Pavlov to Premack to Pinker (Paperback) Great book by noted trainer, Jean Donaldson. She answer great questions  on wide ranging topics on dogs. Down-to-earth, non-nonsense advice. Don't waste your time psychoanalyzing your dog, just train! She favors humane, science-based training methods that build a bond with your dog as you train.   See also Perfect Paws in Five Days
